Monitored video

Your cameras record. Ours call for help.

Most cameras only show you what happened after it's over. Monitored video puts a live person on your cameras so someone acts while it's happening — usually with the cameras you already own.

Three levels

Pick how much watching you need

Camera Health Watch

$15/month per site

We get an alert and call you when a camera or recorder goes offline.

After-hours video verification

$25/month per camera

After hours, motion on your cameras is checked by a live person who calls you and police if needed.

Remote guarding with talk-down

from $149/month per site

A live operator watches and speaks through an outdoor speaker to warn people off before anything happens.

Monthly prices. Equipment such as outdoor speakers is quoted separately if needed.

How it works

  1. We connect your camerasUsually the cameras you already have. We pick the areas that matter and the hours to watch.
  2. Something moves after hoursThe camera sends a short clip to a live operator.
  3. A person looks at itDeer, wind and headlights are ignored. A person on your property is not.
  4. They actTalk-down through the speaker, a call to you, and police dispatch with a verified description.

Frequently asked questions

Can you monitor the cameras I already have?

Usually, yes. We work with UniFi Protect, Uniview and most professional recorders. We'll check your cameras first and tell you if anything needs to change.

How is this different from the alerts on my phone?

Phone alerts depend on you seeing them — at 2 AM, on vacation, in a meeting. With monitored video a trained person looks at the video, decides if it's real, and calls you and the police with what they actually see.

What is talk-down?

An outdoor speaker lets a live operator speak to people on your property: "You in the gray jacket by the loading dock, you are being recorded and police are on the way." Most people leave right away.

Does verified video get a faster police response?

Many police departments give higher priority to an alarm when an operator has seen a person on video, because it's a confirmed crime in progress, not a possible false alarm. Policies vary by town.

What does Camera Health Watch do?

Cameras and recorders fail quietly — a power supply dies, a hard drive fills up, someone unplugs a switch. We get an alert when a camera or recorder goes offline and call you, so you don't find out the day you need the footage.
